At the World Ballet Series, we strive to bring exceptional classical ballet and contemporary dance to the public through performances, training, education, and community involvement. Our goal is to inspire and expand our ever-growing diverse audience base. This Sunday, the World Ballet will be presenting the classic fairytale Cinderella at the Pikes Peak Center. The show will feature the incomparable artistry and elegance of Ekaterina Malkovich as she takes the stage with her captivating performances and remarkable talent. Character dance is an essential part of ballet training and is a particular subdivision of classical ballet.
It is represented and portrayed in many full-length ballets, such as Swan Lake and Don Quixote. Saadi, the director of the ballet company of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Kyrgyzstan, is also the premiere of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater and the guest premiere of the Rostov Musical Theater (Rostov-on-Don). He began dancing when he was four years old and completed his training at the State Ballet School in Berlin, Germany. Saadi worked as a soloist at the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theatre, playing roles such as Albert in Giselle, Kasym in Mother's Field, Basile and Sword in Don Quixote, Birbanto in Le Corsaire, Vaslav in The Fountain of Bakhchisarai, Prince in Nutcracker, pas des trois in Swan Lake. He trained at the Russian Ballet Academy in Japan, spent three years at the Vaganova Ballet Academy and performed at the Odessa State Opera and Ballet Theater. The Colorado Conservatory of Dance will be showcasing their talented teachers and adult students on stage to celebrate creativity and expression.
Gradually, after having gone through all levels of ballet corps, he began to dance solo parts in classical and modern ballets. Come experience the enchanting soundscape that brings to life Cinderella's captivating world with the World Ballet Series. The show will feature a multinational cast of 40 professional ballet dancers with principal dancer Katherine Malkovich playing Cinderella alongside Leonardo Celegato, a rising star of Italian classical ballet, as her Prince. In The Nutcracker, talented young students from the Classical Ballet Academy will be performing alongside trained professionals from Melange Ballet and other companies. Ekaterina Malkovich studied for 8 years at a ballet school before graduating with honors.
She was then accepted into the ballet company of the State Opera and Ballet Theater in Bashkir (Ufa).
