Our mission is to present exceptional classical ballet and contemporary dance through performances, training, education and community participation, while inspiring and expanding an increasingly diverse audience base. Colorado Springs comes alive with the joyful tradition of The Nutcracker, a timeless story that never ceases to captivate, arouse amazement and revive the holiday spirit. Forty-three OKC Ballet dancers make up four different casts for the five performances in Colorado Springs, accompanied by a semi-trailer full of costumes, decorations and accessories to bring the story to life. The World Ballet Series is proud to present an exceptional multinational group of dancers, selected from among the leading ballet institutions in Europe, Japan, the United Kingdom, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.

It will be performed by more than 140 children, pre-professional dancers and guest artists, presented by the Littleton Youth Ballet - Littleton's only non-profit youth ballet company. Enjoy the breadth and depth of the Colorado Ballet Society's pre-professional division to the beat of Tchaikovsky's beautiful melodies. The Oklahoma City Ballet was founded in 1972 by Russian Ballet dancers Yvonne Chouteau and Miguel Terekhov, and has been the city's professional ballet company for more than 40 years. As a choreographer, he has created ballets for the Northwest Arkansas Ballet Theater, the Idaho Ballet, the Chicago Repertory Ballet, the Kansas City Ballet, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, the Moving Arts Dance Festival and the Des Moines Ballet, among others.

This two-act ballet about a family's Christmas Eve party and a girl's Christmas Eve awakening to world and love has become a festive tradition for ballet fans and families alike. Leonardo Celegato joins her in the leading role of The Prince. The Colorado Ballet Society also offers special performances for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, on the autism spectrum or with other sensory sensitivities. He began his ballet training at five years old and continued to perform with various companies such as Olympia Festival Ballet, American Jazz Dance Company, Dayton Ballet II, Alaska Dance Theater and Alaska Ballet.
