Experience the Joyful Celebrations of Abstract Ballets in Colorado Springs

Former students of 73 schools, internship programs, and renowned companies such as the American Ballet Theater, the English National Ballet, the Colorado Ballet, and the Czech National Ballet have all had the chance to express the Christmas message of peace, compassion, and new life through a fun and festive ballet. Paul Sutherland, who first appeared in the piece after joining the American Ballet Theater in 1957 and later became friends with Agnes de Mille, is the only person authorized by the choreographer's heirs to assemble (or teach) the ballet. The Colorado Ballet Society is a pre-professional group that provides dance training and performance in Southern Colorado. Sharon Wehner resumes her role as Cowgirl in the new version of the Colorado Ballet of Rodeo, by Agnes de Mille, which is part of Wintertides Pathways, an abstract representation of the different paths life can take.

This joyful celebration is organized by the Connexus Dance Collective (CDC) and the Colorado Youth Ballet (CYB) at the Center for Otolaryngology. Since 1997, the Colorado Ballet Society has been offering aspiring dancers higher education in a teaching environment that encourages them to reach new levels of excellence. Peak Radar is a comprehensive calendar of arts and cultural community events for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region, ranging from theater to sports, music, film, poetry and outdoor recreation. Boggs and his wife Sandra Brown, one of the company's two ballet teachers, often performed as former members of the American Ballet Theater.

They were allowed to teach this play to the company. Paul Sutherland spent two weeks perfecting this revival of the 1942 classic for the Colorado Ballet. Boggs hopes that these performances will convince some spectators, especially those from Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, to visit Denver to see the company again.
