Individual Giving

Though ticket sales and other revenue will provide 57% of our operating budget this year, your contributions are essential to our success. Our Annual Fund goal for the 2007-08 season is $135,170, and every dollar counts, making the following programs and activities possible:

A full season of contemporary ballet, including Nouveau Showcase, The Nutcracker, Garrett Ammon’s Moulin Rouge and the 21st Century Choreography Competition
Over 1,200 free tickets for low-income individuals from throughout the community
Quality training with heart for more than 300 students in our official school
$15,000 in scholarships for students in need of financial support to pursue their love of dance
Full-time partnerships with four Title I elementary schools, integrating dance into the curriculum and bringing performances to students who would never otherwise experience the arts
The Ugly Duckling Anti Bullying Program, our one-of-a-kind program that uses dance to teach elementary school students how to create a caring community in their school
Performances for 10,000 additional children in high-need schools
