Camcie Foster

Camcie Foster began her dance training with Mme Halina
Lutomski (Elmire, NY) at the age of three, where she studied
ballet and ethnic dance. She studied at the Whitney Center
(Binghamton, NY) under Danita Schiffand Richard Lee, at the
Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under Marcia Dale Weary,
and under Master Rafael Grigorian (Elmira, NY). From
1995-2002, Camcie danced as a principal in the Rafael
Grigorian Ballet Theatre. She has appeared in the principal
roles of Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Baba Yaga, Cipollino
and The Nutcracker. She was featured in the off-Broadway
production of Mark Twain – The Musicaland other original
ballets, as well as ethnic festivals in New York State.
Camcie was Assistant Director and Choreographer for the
Rafael Grigorian Ballet Theatre for eight years. She has
danced with Ballet Nouveau Colorado since 2002, and is
well-known by audiences for her dynamic performances in
Nouveau Showcase and spring concerts and as Chinese Soloist
and Dew Drop Fairy in The Nutcracker. Camcie is currently
pursuing her BA in Russian Studies at CU Boulder.
