Amanda Stewart

Amanda Stewart joined Ballet Nouveau Colorado in 2001 as a guest artist and teacher. She performed with ballet Nouveau Colorado for two seasons before joining the executive staff as Development Director. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Amanda now holds a B.A. in English from the University of Utah, Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.A. in Educational Foundations, Policy and Practice from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

As Development Director, Amanda oversees Ballet Nouveau Colorado’s fundraising programs, including special events, corporate and foundation giving, and individual donor clubs. Since taking the helm of Ballet Nouveau Colorado’s development department in 2003, Amanda has more than tripled the number of individuals making annual contributions to Ballet Nouveau Colorado, doubled gifts from corporations and foundations, and has quadrupled income from special events.

Amanda was selected as one of 15 young nonprofit professionals to participate in the Denver Office of Strategic Partnership’s inaugural Executive Director Leadership Program. In the community, Amanda serves as a regional volunteer for Delta Delta Delta sorority, advising collegiate chapters and conducting trainings for chapter leadership.
